Dear Mr. SAIP, C.A., is a engineering consulting company, established in Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. Currently we are supporting the companies LINDE and SIEMENS in the development of the basic engineering for the electrical infrastructure project 400/115/34.5 kV, for the expansion of the Olefins III and Polyethylene Plant in Ana Maria Campos Petrochemical Complex. Basically the Project that concerns to us in this stage is the cost estimate for the electrical feed in 115 kV of North Substation 115-34.5 kV from the Main North substation 400-115 kV. The interconnection between these two plants will be made with four underground circuits, with copper conductor, insulated for 115 kV, size 2500 mm2, of an approximate length of 2 km. The following design voltage cables is proposed ·Copper conductor / XLPE insulation / copper wire screen area / aluminum tape for radial water tightness / PE outer sheath no letter) Copper conductor 2X XLP insulation (XLP= cross-linked polyethylene) S Copper wire screen (FL)Longitudinal and radial watertight. Al= aluminum foil. 2Y PE outer sheath (PE= polyethylene) 1x single-core cable … Conductor cross-section in mm2 RM conductor shape: R= round M= stranded RMS conductor shape: R= round M= stranded.
