Dear Sir, We Sierra power is a Mini-Hydro power producing company in Sri Lanka. Presently we are going to construction of 2MW power plant which has 1400m length Head race canal and 160m length penstock. Water discharge rate is 4cum/sec. Canal is design to construction on top of the pillars (columns) with 5m to 30m in height. Now we are looking whether FRP pipes can be used instead of concrete canal.
